TOM AND JIM ARE BEST FRIENDS

Tom and Jim are Best Friends

Tom has many friends, but his best one is Jim. Tom is now 17, but he first met Jim in his second year of elementary school, 10 years ago. Tom and Jim like to play tennis together, and now they play twice a week. They are both busy, though, so they don’t see each other any other times. Tom is from New York, in America, but Jim is from Manchester, England. So they like to talk about their different hometowns. Manchester is famous for soccer, so Jim misses watching British soccer games. Tom likes sports too, but he prefers baseball and basketball to soccer. While Tom and Jim are usually friendly with each other, sometimes they argue, especially when they play tennis, because both of them want to win!
