BS: Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Can I talk to you about something?
スミスさん、お話しできますか？
HF: Of course! What is it?

BS: For my school project, I need to interview you. Is that okay?
学校のプロジェクトで、インタビューをさせていただきたいのですが、よろしいでしょうか？
HF: That sounds interesting. Tell us more about it.
面白そうですね。もう少し詳しく教えてください。
BS: I want to ask you some questions about your family and life here. I will record it on my iPad.
ご家族のことや、ここでの生活についていくつか質問させていただきたいと思います。iPadで録画します。
HF: That’s fine. When would you like to do this?
大丈夫ですよ。いつ頃がいいですか？
BS: Is Saturday afternoon good for you?
土曜日の午後はご都合いかがでしょうか？
HF: Yes, Saturday at 2 PM works for us.
はい、土曜日の午後2時なら大丈夫です。
BS: Great! The interview will take about 30 minutes. I will ask questions in English.

HF: Okay, we’ll be ready. Do we need to prepare anything?
わかりました。準備しておきます。何か用意する必要はありますか？
BS: No, just be yourselves. After I go back to Japan, I will add Japanese subtitles to the video.
いいえ、普段通りでいいです。日本に帰ったら、ビデオに日本語字幕をつけます。
HF: That’s a cool project! We’re happy to help.

BS: Thank you so much! I’m excited to share about you with my classmates in Japan.
